14th CYM Pilgrimage Join hundreds of others on Saturday, April 12, 2025, as we walk the streets of Wilmington carrying the Pilgrimage Cross with Bishop Koenig. We are excited to welcome back “The Scally Brothers” to lead worship throughout the day. It will start at St. Elizabeth with prayer and a concert, to St. Francis Hospital for a special blessing of the patients, then Reconciliation at St. Anthony of Padua, followed by the Stations of the Cross at Padua Academy, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at St. Paul, and Blessing of Palms and Mass upon our return to St. Elizabeth. Join this event commemorating Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday and His pilgrimage to Calvary on Good Friday. Click for more info and to register.

Kathleen Jacono, the principal of St. Mary Magdalen School since last summer, has had the “interim” tag removed. On July 9, the Vatican’s General Secretariat of the Synod released the working document for the second session of the Synod on Synodality, which takes place at the Vatican Oct. 2-27. The document centers on the upcoming discussions on the topic of “how to be a missionary synodal church” — part of the synod’s governing theme of “communion, participation and mission.” Click for more info.
