I was born on December 9, 1956, and was raised in Old New Castle, Delaware, my hometown. That makes me a Delaware native and a native of the Diocese of Wilmington.
I attended Saint Peter the Apostle Grade School in Old New Castle, Salesianum High School in Wilmington, Saint Mary’s Seminary College in Baltimore Maryland, and Saint Meinrad School of Theology in Southern Indiana. I was ordained to the priesthood on November 15, 1986, by the late Bishop Robert E. Mulvee. I have served in the following parishes: Saint Matthew, Saint Catherine of Siena, Church of the Holy Child, Holy Rosary, and Saint Mary Magdalen where I am currently assigned.
Over my 38 years as a priest, I have served as the Director of Worship, and as the Dean of the Brandywine Deanery. Additionally, I served on the Diocesan Liturgical Commission, the Presbyteral Council, and the Priests Continuing Formation Committee. In 1997 I was invested as a Priest Knight of the Equestrain Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. In 2002 I professed the promises of, and thus became an Oblate of Saint Benedict with affiliation to Saint Meinrad Archabbey in Southern Indiana.
